Pierce Architects was selected based on the award winning remodel of station 2. to adapt the existing facility to new methods of firefighting.

Vail Fire Station 2

Originally constructed in the early 1970’s, Fire Station No.2 is located in central Vail at the intersection of Meadow Drive and Vail Road.

Vail Gymnastics Center

The building mass is disengaged from the Red Sandstone gymnasium but has a sub-grade hallway connection to the gymnasium.

Edwards Ambulance Facility

Pierce Architects worked with District staff and board members to program and design a facility that met their immediate and future needs.

Mountain School Greenhouse

The greenhouse addition will be used as a teaching tool for the Vail Mountain School students.

Vail Golf Course Clubhouse

The design provided for the conversion of the Golf Course Facility to the Vail Nordic Center during the winter months.
