For the last two decades, I have been using Bill Pierce, and Pierce Architects, for the majority of our professional architectural needs at Vail Cascades Condominiums. In addition, another notable acomplishment has been the Design Guidelines program that Bill's firm created for Coldstream.

My most recent experience working with Bill was on the remodel of Vail's Fire Station #2 in Vail Village. Bill's past experience as a firefighter gave him a unique insight into the day to day workingd of the Fire Station. Bill's work turned a tired old building into a highly functional facility that fits in to the architecture of Vail Village.

It was clear to me that the most popular young architects were saying what we wanted to hear; and were going to build a variation on their personal style to meet our general requirements. This is not what we wanted. We wanted a contemporary French Chalet; not a Chalet version of the architects presiding style. Bill and Vail Architects have shown the patience and willingness to work toward the design we had theorized and are delivering the product we want.

Before renovation our last condo sale had been about $1100 per square foot. Our first sale of the combined unit, brought $2400+ per square foot. Our owners are thrilled with the outcome. Area residents and guests complement me on the outstanding results. It was a positive team effort.
