Constructed in the 1980's this building formed the Eagle County Branch of Colorado Mountain College for several decades until it was replaced with a much larger facility in Edwards, Colorado. The building remained vacant, besides the occasional event, for more than 10 years.

Pierce Architects envisions an opportunity to utilize the existing facility in context of a major redevelopment of the property. Most of the existing classroom space and the two on site theatres (80 seat and 300 seat) will be provided to a non- profit organization at no cost. The gift will be funded with the sale of new residential space that will be built over and around the existing facility providing the nonprofit organizations in Vail with a home and venue at no cost to the public.
